Friedman was a showman on the order of William Castle, but with more of a carnival flair.  "Drank like a fish and smoked big cigars", as it says in his obit, gives an idea of his bigger than life personality.  He produced not only BLOOD FEAST, but also 2000 MANIACS, SHE FREAK, and COLOR ME BLOOD RED, as well as a number of nudie films.  Quite a character, his B-horrors, which he felt would be forgotten, WILL live on and be enjoyed by future fans.  R.I.P., Mr. Friedman!

Somewhere, I have a tape (and a dvd) featuring some interviews with Friedman & Lewis.  David Friedman was obviously proud of his movie-making achievements.  He was quite a guy!

O.M.G.!! I just NOW found out!!!! David F.Friedman was an awesome produce.
She freak, Blood Feast, 2001 maniacs, Ilsa: Shewolf of the SS, and other flicks.
