Title: Hazel Court Has Passed Away
Post by: capt.hendry51 on April 15, 2008, 02:34:20 PM
I just got off the creepy Classics website and it is my sad duty to report that the great horror genre actress Hazel Court passed away this morning.   I'll pass more details when they become available.

This makes me terribly, terribly sad--I had very much looked forward to speaking with her.  Ron said he talked to her just the other day and she was "bubbly" and excited--Prince Sirki came unexpectedly and quickly, I guess.  If it was quick, then, so be it, and godspeed to happier places!

That's too bad.  I liked her.  It would have been nice to meet her one day.

HAZEL COURT was an Artist!
... As ST. FRANCIS wrote:
"An Artist is one who works, with their hands, their head & their HEART."
... Her impeccable precision was evident in everything she chose to do, from her film career, so fondly remembered, for her beauty & talent, to her "Life After Celluloid Fame", where she deepened her innate creativity, through her other unique expressions, of Art.
... HAZEL was a human whirl-wind; our paths crossed, only once, at a Convention, and, like anyone, with even half-a-heart, when I walked away, from our momentary encounter, I was aware, of carrying something of the essential 'her', within me. She impressed me, greatly, with her warmly irrepressible charm, so child-like, effervescent, luminous.
... It is the people, like, HAZEL, and, BEN CHAPMAN, who inspire us, for, they share their treasures, freely, of bringing Heaven to earth. May They, like all of our Beloveds, Be United, EVERNOW, in the Fullness of LOVE DIVINE! And, may, They, now, in Full Consciousness, Pray, for us to join them, when our earthly pilgrimage is done.
EXANIMO EVERNOW,
TIMOTHY FRANCIS HERRON, B.G.G.

God bless her...a beautiful woman, and a real talent.
She'll always be Lenore to me.
But I'll honor her by watching her as Juliana in Masque of the Red Death, especially in her soul-selling dream sequence...(running in a flimsy nightie)
hubba hubbba.

Really THE ONLY reason to watch Dr. Blood's Coffin

Rest in Peace

-Prof Griffin.

Here's some more information from AP News, Ms. Court passed away from a sudden heart attack at her Lake Tahoe home Tuesday.  She was married to famous actor-director Don Taylor and is survived by her daughters, Sally Walsh and Courtney Taylor, son Jonathan Taylor, and stepdaughters, Anne Taylor Fleming and Avery Taylor.   The article also quoted Ms. Walsh as saying that her mother would receive 100 pieces of fan mail each month and personally answered each one.
