The former owner (a 37-year veteran Soaky collector) claims this 10" plastic "Soaky-like" bottle is at minimum 20 years old. It has no markings.
I've never seen another like it. What the heck is it, anyway?

Could it be a Mexican/European knockoff?
What's it made of.. What does the interior smell like?

Empty plastic bottle - Like an old Soaky. No smell.
Owner identified it as a "bubble bath" bottle that she had for over 20 years.
Wow! What the heck is that? It's very cool, I know that! Any markings whatsoever on the figure?
ME WANTY!
It is extremely cool, and maybe a little suspicious, especially with no markings. If the previous owner were named Matt Jaycox, I'd smell a rat!
It looks too refined to be a Mexican piece. I'm thinking it's an unlicensed early 90s Halloween item, pre-Internet, that came and went with little notice. It definitely has a 60s monster vibe, but I don't think it is that old. But I'm just guessing, throwing my dice on the wheel. I have no idea what it really is.
I could swear I've seen that head before. It reminds me of the illustration on the Don Post Frankenstein mask box.
It looks to me like a relic from the 70s or maybe the 80s. ME WANTY too.
What ever the age this is way cool. I have a few monster bubble bath containers, some of which I am hoping to post in the modern toys section. Wish I had this Frankenstein though.
I'm pretty sure it's Frankenstein's Monster. But I'm no expert. ;)

I had the same uncomfortable feeling about this. The body looked a little generic from the seller's pictures. Since no one here has identified this bottle yet, I was a little worried that something like a flashlight Frankenstein head had been married to a random body. I received this in the mail today and took some more pictures:
Here is a closeup of the head - It fits snugly over the cap.

Left Profile - Notice the additional clamps on temple and neck.

Left Wrist - Coat is torn and the wrist has a scar an clamp in front

Right Wrist - Cuff is frayed and wrist and neck clamps can be seen clearly

Back of Wrists - Clamps and wrist scars can be seen.

Both wrist have 2 clamps placed front and back and a single stich placed between them.
The bottle neck has a plug with tiny hole for dispensing the bubble bath - so that agrees with seller's description. He is slightly taller than described - he is 10.5 inches tall.
I hope these pictures help someone identify him.
It looks original to itself to me (head and body match). Look at the 'flash' plastic on the seams- it matches identically head to body.
I agree it looks 70s/80s...or later. The cap looks newer. Neat piece, though...congrats!

Yeah, I was really glad to finally see it in person and get a better look at all the Frankenstein-related detail in the body. The cap appears to be original in person.
There are no markings anywhere. Wish someone here knew something more about it.
I'm with Bob - this looks like the real deal to me. Everything is in scale, the clothing looks like Frankenstein attire (including boots), and the flashing along the body and head seals the deal for me.
A super piece! Congrats!
No clue, but very cool!
Great find!
That is very cool! :o
I think it's interesting that his forehead scar is not only on the left side, but is angled sloping to the left.

Reminded me of the Electric Frankenstein posters where it looks like they were working with a mirror image.
Forgive me for bumping this topic up.
I was hoping the UMA had recruited a new member who could identify this silly bottle.
Or maybe an old member has encountered one of these, or some other collector who has one.
Maybe I can help........please send to me for closer examination.......ha! Buddy
Whatever it is, it's cool as hell!
Can't help to identify but love it just the same !!
seems very familiar but i have no idea what it is.
What's fustrating is the lack of markings. My guess is that this piece was included as part of a set, wrapped in plastic with a label on it, or had a sticker on it that was easily removed. Without the label, your best hope is for soemone to eventually sell something like it, and that could tell you what you have.
Two years later and it remains a mystery...

But another just sold on eBay. This one was in the UK. Again, the seller says he knows nothing about it and has never seen a 2nd example.

I saw something very similar on eBay recently. Maybe do a search of closed auctions and see if you find any pertinent info.
BTW, Haunted Hulk eBay auction siting. Not mine, but anyone needing a Haunted Hulk might want to check it out. It has some damage, is nasty, and has a reserve. But still, they don't come up often. After a cleanup, and some repro stickers, it would probably display okay.

Very cool looking piece. I wonder if there was a Drac or Mummy?
Perhaps...
Late '70s character bubble bath bottles from Noveltime Products Ltd out of the UK. The design, style, manufacturing, UK origin, and general lack of markings are all very similar. If it is from this company, I sure would delight in seeing the package.

I was hoping the fact that the 2nd auction was in the UK might give another avenue of research. It would help explain why none of our many U.S. members were familiar with it.
Also interesting to see that the Bond w/Box sold for $320.00.
I'd like to know if they made any other monsters. I'd like to see any packaging for the Frank, too.
Thanks for the links!
Nice work, you nailed it!
Still curious about this bottle.
I've never seen any others beyond these two. Has anyone else seen these pop up?
I'd sure like to see one with its original box!

In that case, it is a spectacular find.
(I wonder what color the Frankenstein soap was?)
I'd love to know if they were the only two monsters, and what any other boxes looked like.
