Dies at the age of 83
What an extremely likable guy. Was he EVER in a role in which he was not a nice guy?

God Bless Him.
RIP, "Mr. C".
An all around nice guy. R.I.P. Mr. Cunningham. You will be missed. It's kinda strange that he replaced Harold Gould for the role of Mr. C and they both passed on about the same time. For those who didn't know the Happy Days pilot was actually a segment on Love American Style called Love and The Happy Days (all their episodes started with Love and.....) Harold Gould played Mr. C in the pilot and when it went to series Tom Bosley took over the role and the rest is history.
I do recall the Love American Style segment, it even featured "Potsy"!
I remember the Love American Style program of Happy Days.
Goodbye Tom Bosley aka Mr C. :'(
Besides his HAPPY DAYS fame, I remember him from the FATHER DOWLING MYSTERIES. He appeared in two episodes of NIGHT GALLERY and was "Teddy" in the '62 ARSENIC AND OLD LACE on tv, co-starring with Boris Karloff and Tony Randall. Mr. Bosley had a long career, from the late '50s on. Thanks for the memories! May your sleep be peaceful now.
This one hits me a little bit. Howard Cunningham was my favorite character on the show.
Mr C. and Mrs Cleaver in the same week. :(
I too loved the Father Dowling Mysteries. Good old family fun show. And don't forget that he played the Sheriff on Murder She Wrote. Yet another TV Icon gone. Sad week.
Thanks for all the great stuff Tom. R.I.P
If memory serves he was the voice of the dad in the cartoon "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home". I believe it was a prime time Hannah Barbera production.
He voiced the main gnome character in a cartoon series my daughter used to watch in the early 90's...can't recall the title but we always called it ''Howard The Gnome''. He also did a turn as a crooked Priest on Car 54 Where Are You? that i love! RIP Tom and thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us all....

It was David The Gnome. My son used to watch it when he was just a little guy.

Rest in Peace.

Man, this is becoming unbearable. I wonder if our parents went through this when reading about their tv legends passing away? Anyway, he was a good one with a soul soothing voice and fatherly face. We will miss you, Tom.
