Being as the cam only shows from the waist up, not having pants on would be optional. I will leave that question unanswered. The mystery will only add to the viewer's total experience. ;D
BTW, this web cam technology will be in place for the Wonderfest show. We have live feeds of the Toy Tour exhibit during the entire show. Wi-fi permitting that is.

Hello Tom. Web cams can be had relatively cheap depending on the quality of the cam. I think mine was around $25.00? The service itself is FREE. Go to Yahoo Live to configure your own account. Click here - http://live.yahoo.com
I will provide a simple tutorial later today as to how you embed it into your post here. It's really quite simple. And a lot of fun too. I would like to see other members here do the same.

Should I count myself fortunate that the computer I use is too old to enable me to watch this sort of stuff? I think I'll just stick to "Time Tunnel" and be happy that my computer is technologically impaired.

Hello Tom. Sorry for the delay in my reply. I've been extremely busy as of late, so I'm way behind here at UMA.
Here is what you will want to use for the coding.

I left the first and last flash bracket off of the code so you can see the actual code and not the cam itself. Make sure you include the missing brackets when embedding this into your post or it won't work.
Also when using the audio portion of the web cam you'll want to make sure you have your speaker volume turned way down (or off) so bleed over won't take place.
Let me know when your next live web cam appearance will be, and I will try and tune in. That way I can provide further assistance as well as have a live chat with you here at UMA. That is possible too.
Looking forward to seeing a mug that only a mother could love. ;D

It is now. You had the url wrong Tom. Now that I corrected it, click modify and look at your post to fetch the correct code. This will be the code you'll want to use for all future web cam posts.
Also remember to click "Go Live" over at Yahoo Live to ensure live broadcasting. And don't forget to click "Stop" when your finished, or people might see you do something you didn't intend for them to see. ;D

My apologies Tom. I had fallen asleep last night while watching hockey. My bad.
I checked out Yahoo Live this morning and all seems to be working fine. No problems with going live.

I will not be home tonight and mine is still not working for some reason.
It said my camera is being used by another application. I have to mess around with it to find what the problem is.

I had a great time chatting live with Tom the other night. There's still some bugs to work out, but I think in time the web cam shows will be well worthwhile. I hope to be able to provide live interviews as well as light hearted discussions with some of fandom's finest. That's you! You never when someone may sneak up and say, "smile .. your on Castle Camera"!
BTW, our next Tom-n-Terry show will be announced a week before it happens. It will become a regularly scheduled program once we have the technology properly harnessed.
