Title: Sideshow's Laboratory Figure Environment
Post by: Moonshadow on September 13, 2010, 06:03:06 PM
Holy cow...what little they are showing so far looks very cool:

But we really need a Dr. Frankenstein to go with that! Can't wait to see the whole thing...although I don;t know if I want to see the price tag!  ;)

I hate to be the fly in the ointment, but... it doesn't look like the laboratory from any of the 8 Universal Frankenstein movies. I checked all the laboratory scenes from my dvd collection and nothing looked like the Sideshow version. They should respect their loyal customers and spend the extra three bucks and license it from Universal. I mean, they will charge an arm and a leg for this thing (it might as well look authentic).

Like one comment on the site said, I need a Henry Frankenstein before I can even consider investing in this.

That thing looks real enough to bring the action figure to life!

They did the reveal here:

Looks like a) there is nothing more to it, and b) it is designed for Sideshow's Dead line. Although the price is fairly cheap (for SS) at $89. But I'm not nearly as enthused as I was yesterday.

What the hell happen to sideshow? I wish they would go back to their old ways, lower prices, better availability, more 8inch figures. These figures put them on the map. As for the display,to much for to little! >:D
