Tomorrow at 8:30AM in a closed session before a Palm Beach County judge, our foster son Jonah becomes legally, officially, and forever our SON (drop the "foster").
It's been a long, scary, frustrating ride..........but as of tomorrow morning no one can ever take him away from us. Just wanted to share our family's happiness with our extended UMA family!! ;D ;D ;D

Congratulations on your sweet sweet news! Castle Scatter sounds like a happenin' spot, so I appreciate you taking the time to post this wonderful story. That's a beautiful picture of 2 happy brothers, but I can't help wondering if they can possibly be as happy as their Mom and Dad are :) You guys sound like a pretty cool family.

Thanks for all the kind replies guys!! It was a terrific morning for us all!! Now we're off for a celebratory "Welcome Home" dinner at a great little Chinese restaurant in town with the family.

Sorry to arrive late to this celebration, but we've been awaiting and finally riding out Hurricane Earl here on eastern Long Island...things are just starting to die down. [we escaped with only some periodic heavy rain and wind] Congrats to you and your wonderful family, Gary! Even Jonah looks like he's relieved that the ordeal is now finally over and the ending could NOT have been a happier one! So next is the big move to the new house, right? Hopefully very soon? A new family in a new home, what could be better? Best of luck to you all and thanks for sharing this long awaited terrific news!

Look, he's growing up with you. How much more damage can he possibly incur?? That's like giving a kid a knife to play with, but not letting him play outside because you fear mosquito bites.
He is a cutie, OG. I bet you guys are looking forward to the next few holidays! This will be the best time ever, since he's now old enough to understand what's going on :) We took our grandbuddy to Mickey's Not So Scary Hallween Party at 2, stayed at the Nick Hotel at age 3, and did the Nick Jr. character breakfast and I'm soooooo glad we did. Because now that he's 5, Dora and Diego are "for babies" as he now proclaims, so if you wait too long you have to wait around til they're old enough to think it's cool again! My nephew was like that from ages 5-8 and then he thought the Winnie the Pooh characters were campy and fun when he got older, so he enjoys them again. whew.... I guess there's some kind of pamphlet to explain all this! Anyways, these monster kids are awesome, keep postin' the photos and I'll keep being delighted by them!
