Love Bela, end of sentence!

I also very much all of the others listed for varying reasons. Lee's and Oldman's Dracula were memorable, and loved the concepts in Dracula 2000

Y'know, Lee's Dracula was the only one I got to see on the big screen as a kid. About a year ago I bought that 4 film Drac Hammer dvd, and was really not impressed by Lee's Dracula. He certainly got the babes, but seemed to be a somewhat wussy Dracula to me. Visually he looked great, but maybe if they would have given him more lines he wouldn't have come across that way to me. I still would like to see Dracula Has Risen From the Grave one more time since I haven't seen that one since I was in my teens.

Just my 2 centavos.

Lugosi's Dracula  The original and best. Often imitated never duplicated. My favorite movie of all time. Yes, I am biased.

I agree! His Dracula was the strong and imperious character from Bram Stoker's book.

Thi was a hard choice for me-I love Lugosi and Lee almsot equally, but I have a very very slight preference for Sir Christopher. His Dracula is ferocious and much closer to Stoker's character(though still very different)

Lugosi IS Dracula - Those modern dracula films were awful - didn't Dracula 3000 take place in outer space? that's funny

If we are talking closeness to the novel: Louis Jourdan BBC Dracula. If we are talking excitement: Lee and Cushing. Of we are talking on screen presence; Bela Lugosi.
