Post by: Stars1100 on July 22, 2010, 03:27:16 PM
Hey all,

Dose anyone here remember the old creature feature TV show back in the 70's or how about Chiller Theater, I remember them well and I was always ready to watch them when I was a kid with my Grandfather,( i guess now you know Im not a kid, well I'm a 40 year old Kid.  my favorite monster back then and still is was the Wolfman with Lon Chaney Jr. When I live in California I had the honor to meet Ron Chaney, Lon's Grandson and we became friends over the years we still talk from time to time, his latest movie is about to be released to DVD called House of the wolfman, the movie was made just like the old universal horror movies . Below are some Youtube links you can check out, since they are from youtube there's no copyright issues. Enjoy!!!!

Hey Starz,

We've had a couple of threads on House of the Wolfman. If you have some time, do a search using the title. Ron's a super guy and a few of us know him as well.

At the gracious invitation of Ron Chaney, I was able to attend the DVD Release party in Hollywood last night. Many of the cast, including Ron, along with his two beautiful daughters Jennifer and Jackie were in attendance.

It was a nice evening, made nicer by the presence of GraceBuster whom I hope will post pictures, because OG, yet again, forgot his camera.

Hopefully DVD will be arriving soon to the Opera House!

OG!!!!!!  I'm gonna get someone to come out there and surgically implant a camera into your forehead!  :)   You lead an exciting life out there in the beautiful state of CA.! Although I'm not personally involved in the "Rondo Project", I would love to see photos from last night's soiree. I'm just kidding about the OG-head cam. so please don't call the fuzz......I bet the monster lover in you had so much fun last night, that you would have forgotten to push the on button anyway    :)
