                                        Stella Stevens, 1938-2023

Her IMdb Credits:    https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001771/

I think I first really noticed her in "The Nutty Professor".  I never failed to notice her after that.

(Using the "celebrities die in 3's" rule, I thought that after two dark-haired beauties like Gina Lollobrigida and Raquel Welch leaving us, I was kinda expecting Sophia Loren to be the 3rd.)

She had a nice ... philtrum.
I remember her in "The Poseidon Adventure" but never really followed her career before or since.
'Saw her in person a couple of times at a night club I used to frequent in the '90s. 'Might've even
danced with her once.

Yes, Stella was tough not to notice.

You could even call her a traffic stopper.

I love the Poseidon Adventure and met her on a few occasions. She was always very sweet.

I can still remember final shot of "Professor" with Stevens walking away from the camera.....

I never saw The Silencers.  I found it on YouTube and was watching it, thinking, "Boy this is a stupid movie" when she suddenly made THAT entrance!  I forgot all about how dumb the movie was and sat thansfixed to the very end.

What a fantastic beauty she was.  I miss her even more now.

I saw that movie in April 2021 and that was the only scene that stuck in my memory!
