I ordered aria as soon as it was up. Still have not received it. It was the only item from the con I wanted so the postage is not an issue for me on this one. Yesterday I received emails from S7 and Amok Time advertising Maria. I responded to S7 I had ordered and paid for it already and where was it?

I checked my order a week ago and it said it had been fulfilled. This sounds like somebody f&*%ed up and is backpedaling. I am considering my response.

I finally got my Maria in this morning but I am confused now. I am sure this is the Con version but I thought it was supposed to be copper. This one is more like gunmetal grey.

Im sorry but after reading this thread I don't understand the hate going on.

No one has a gun to your head to make you buy anything.  Nobody forces you to become a completist.  No one makes you rebuy figures you already have because they have new packaging. Nobody makes you buy a 3 3/4 inch universal monster because you collect universal monsters.

We are literally in a new golden age of action figures. You can buy action figures of almost ANYTHING now. Just buy what you like - That is the point.
If you don't like it, instead of buying it and complaining about "having to " on forums (Which really doesnt affect anything) actually complain WITH YOUR WALLET and start passing on figures you dont want or need.

Don't like exclusives? Then DONT BUY EXCLUSIVES. SDCC is a major revenue source for smaller toy companies and exclusives are a huge reason for this.

I love toys but forum complaining has become to the grown up version of throwing a tantrum in the middle of the toy aisle.

That's the same one I have and I agree that the colour isn't quite what I expected but it is quite heavy, maybe it's made out of copper? I'm guessing not but do wonder if the weight of this will differ from the regular release that is out now. That one does appear to be more plastic so do pass on your findings if you end up with both.

I don't think it matches the catalog picture color, which looked more patinaed copper or bronze.
