Nice! I wasn't aware that it was available on blu-ray. Let me know how it looks when you watch it. I might have to upgrade soon...

It looks totally pristine! Except for the '80's fashions & hairstyles, you would think the film was made yesterday; it looks that good! Great behind the scenes documentary on the film and commentary from director David DeCoteau and actress Brinke Stevens for extras. It came out in October 2016 and was exclusive to Full Moon's company, however, I found it for $12.00 on Ebay last week.

What a stunning restoration! It was worth the expense & wait to get the Blu-Ray discs from BFI, and then a Multi-Region BD player. I just love the Carl Davis score. He used classical music from Haydn, Mozart, and a lot of Beethoven who were all alive and working hard during that time. And when you consider the fact that there will be no American release of this version -- I felt the need to jump all over it before it becomes out of print.

Sellers on EBay and such, would have you believe that it is already OOP, so they can jack up the price. The fact is that - the 1st Edition BD is sold out. So the 2nd Edition comes in a plastic case (no more Boxed Editions), with the same booklet and a shortened interview with Carl Davis. The full interview can be obtained on YouTube. It's still the same film & restoration.

The "Eagle" theme that Maestro Davis composed for the film is just wonderful and makes you feel good when you hear it.
