I'm really looking forward to finally seeing this movie!! Maybe they'll find THE CAT CREEPS, or THE MONKEY'S PAW, next!?

It is mostly slow and talky, but I think it did for water disaster effects what King Kong did for giant ape effects.  Impressive for 1933.

That's a great Blu release of a fun film! Congrats!  ;)

Very cool. I gotta pick this up. My dvd is not the best quality. Hopefully the blu-ray is a big improvement.

The Blu-ray is a vast improvement over the dvd...I have the dvd as well and the film looks so much better on Blu. Plus it also has a great commentary from director Paul Maslansky and interviews with most of the cast as well as the trailer. You will probably be happy with the result. :)

Stopped at Zia records in Phoenix area. Picked up some used blu-rays. "Carrie" and "30 Days" were upgrades. The other three are new additions.

Just changing the title of this thread, a bit, to "Latest DVDs & BDs in My Collection" to better distinguish it from "New Blu-ray/DVD Releases".

(Thanks for the suggestion, Adam.)

This came yesterday:

Nice! I wasn't aware that it was available on blu-ray. Let me know how it looks when you watch it. I might have to upgrade soon...
