Recently found a candid of Boris on Ebay--which was described as being Karloff and wife at Hollywood Bowl.  Well, H'wood Bowl maybe, but wife, NO!  Obviously a late '30s or '40s photo, and the lady Boris is escorting is a much older woman than wife Dorothy.  I sent the image to Sara K., and she was very excited--this is her grandmother--her mom's mother, and she wondered if I could snag it for her?  I got it, and it will be winging its way to her soon.  But she gave me permission to copy it, and I'm going to share it with you.  You never know what you'll find on Ebay.

Robert, you sure do come across some nice stuff! Your findings are always unique. I imagine Sara was most delighted with said photograph. Very cool!

The Drunken Severed Head

Beautiful. Odd to see an off-set Karloff wearing his haired parted on the side and plastered down.

Which is why I think even the seller's "Hollywood Bowl" i.d. is a "maybe".  Looks like the wong description, to me.  But from photo it's hard really hard to see where they are--on set of a WONG film?  Running away to have a picnic?  Your guess is as good as mine.
