Maybe you have heard of the original novella "The Turn of the Screw" by Henry James?

I only heard about it once I finished watching the film and was reading about it online. Have you read it?

So different from anything else at the time. Creepy!!!!
"....flying saucers? You mean the kind from up there?"

Yeah. The movie is very faithful to the book. You can read it online.

Great double feature! I saw both in the theaters and enjoyed them immensely. The 2004 one is a good example of a remake well done  (though, I still prefer the original).

Monsters For Sale

Deep Impact, 1998 - Pretty decent tsunami effects

It is fun to compare this to the recently restored Deluge, 1933 Blu-Ray.  The earlier movie effects seem all the more impressive for their time.

I saw both films, one in a drive-in(Dawn-1978) and one in the theatre. I love both equally. Both different and unique.

Laid to Rest  - I keep forgetting how cool this film is. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor....watch it.

Night of the Demons - Love the scene where Linnea distracts the store clerk with her irresistible ass. There are many other wonderful scenes (this one just sticks on my mind, for some reason).

Fun film and Horror classic, Mord. Great scene, too. My two favorite scenes in Night of the Demons, is, the lipstick and Angela dancing to Bauhaus, scenes

Siren 2016 - I had no idea this movie existed. It is a full length movie based on my favorite segment from "VHS".  The original short was called "Amateur Night". It deals with a trio of "chuckle-heads" that to go to a bar to pick up on some chicks to make a porn tape. One of the girls turns out to be more than they bargain for after she grows fangs, wings, and a tail (still looked hot to me). The same actress is  back in this film. Lots of atmosphere and some goofy fun. Did I mention that the girl is mostly nekid thru the entire film?

That was one of the best segments from any of the VHS films..I will certainly check this one out. :)

I hope you enjoy it.  It has the same oddly attractive actress with those huge eyes.
