--Insert pun here. Kid has a Monkey on his back. Everytime he sees a Monster movie, he then watches everyday after that until we introduce him to another. I'm thinking his ready for The Creech now, and the originals of the  Monster Classics--he knows everyone by name, and now has a Dracula cape, and runs around as Dracula! Was adamant about wearing the Frankenstein Monster tee on Saturday.

Mom just got him Monster Bash Pjs that have Drac and Frankie images on them, and another which is glow in the dark skeleton.

Sorry for the hijack! Scatter started it

You're a good dad.

NOTLD remake. What was the point, actually?
We're all here because we're not all there.

To introduce Tony Todd?
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

Actually, to introduce the Woman lead as a More butt-kicking hero, than the previous screaming little girl from the original..

The Creeper

Long live the UMA!

I like both versions NOTLD but if I could only watch one it would be the remake. Though Kyra Schon as Karen Cooper is one CREEPY little girl. And the scene with the cement trowel was my earliest "shock" that changed my life.

Phantom Stranger

"Resident Evil: Afterlife"

The further adventures of professional zombie ass kicker Alice, this time in L.A.

Phantom's Review: If you liked the other ones, you'll like this one.

Phantom Stranger

"Night Of The Living Dead"

My favorite zombie film hosted by my favorite horror hostess (and still super hot) "Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark"
A fun way to spend an evening.

The last few days I've watched:
"13 Ghosts" 1960 (enjoyable William Castle schlock)
"Soylent Green" 1973 (my first viewing in years, it holds up quite well)
"Monty Python and the Holy Grail" 1975 (a comedy classic)
"Men In Black II" 2002 (mediocre sequel, the original was much better)
George

In the last few days I got all of the predator and aliens movies on dvd. (most I had on vhs) So in addition to the movies I have been watching the special features.

Alien vs Predator - good ( I love the Frankenstein meets the Wolfman reference)
Aliens vs Predator : Requiem - bad. (The movie is to damn dark. What fun is a monster movie when you can't see the monsters. I was excited to see the pred-alien but you only see him in preadtor vision. We need more light!!!!)
Alien - good
Aliens (extended cut) - great
Alien Resurrection (extended cut) - ok
Predator - great
Predator 2 - ok

(I have yet to watch Alien 3. Never seen it. And I can't wait for Predators to come out on DVD. I hope it rocks.)
Night of the Living Dead (original) - GREAT ( I just got the dvd edition with George's signiture on the cover. This is the best NOTLD dvd that I  have. And I have many.)

The Blair Witch
Blair Witch 2
Stir of Echos

and some MST3K.
Just remember. There are such things.

Memphremagog
