Number 13 isn't out, yet, but here's a sneak peak of the cover for #14. Looks like another classic from the brush of Daniel Horne!  :)

The latest Ultimate Guide. So, it looks like they are planning to have a book for every Universal monster series movie. They've done all the Frankenstein (and Wolf Man) series films and are now starting on the Mummy sequels. Anybody planning on getting them all?

I need to pick up #12 and The Universal Dracula Movies 1931-1948 book. That will catch me up.

I've only been buying the magazine and the Universal series and one-off (The Raven, etc.) guides and the other classic silents and '30s (KK, J&H, Nosferatu, etc.) guides. I can't afford the Hammer books, too and I'm not that interested in the modern horror books.

Great collection, geezer!

I have all the Universal "Ultimate Guides" published, so far. I also bought the Nosferatu, LAM, KK and Dr. J & Mr. H, but I had to pass on the Hammer series, as it was just getting too expensive.

I also buy the "Classic Monsters" magazine, so I'm getting about 3 of these volumes every month plus all the other mags I buy!

Do you buy the extra tall bags to fit those mags/books?

Thanks Mike. Yes I think that's a first rate publication. I have most of the Hammer issues, Kong, Godzilla, and the Slasher Trio. Also have those misc issues like "scrapbook." I ordered their new Frankenstein legacy issue and Universal 1920s-1930s special issues. I like the looks of This Island Earth issue coming out too.

In term of bags there's a mix. I don't have them all bagged yet, but some are in traditional magazine bags and boards. They don't fit perfectly so I'd like to find some of the tall bags at some point. Some of my issues, however, are in the plastic sleeves sent by the company. With each special issue the authors sign the first 200 or so. These versions include a collage print as well. In a few cases I was able to order these earlier enough and they arrived in plastic sleeves.

MrDark1

I need to do some catching up with this mag.
Is there a good place in US that carries this title for sale?
I have visited the Classic Monsters site, and wonder if they still offer a subscription?

Thanks for any info you may offer.
