Just because they're grinning, it doesn't mean they're happy to see you.  :)
I made a quick pass through my image files and selected today's top ten creepiest:

These first two are from The Halloween Society Custom Collector's Edition series,
characters that surely need no introduction to fans of classic horror. Both date back to the mid 1980s >

This madly grinning mask, clearly modeled after Eddie Quist's werewolf from "The Howling",
was catalogued by Death Studios under a different name >

This character from "Jeepers Creepers" would look plenty creepy whether grinning or not >

I'm not sure what to make of this one, although it looks like
he could probably swallow a hay bale in one gulp!

We've all had to force a smile at parties but let's hope it never comes to this!
'Another Illusive Concepts offering from 2002 >

I saw this silicone half mask in Immortal Masks' catalog. You can almost
read his thoughts, be they not warm and fuzzy >

'Winding down with a couple of Post Studios classics from decades past.
It might be a stretch referring to HERMAN's sinister smirk as a smile
but he's an all-around creepy character regardless, created by Rob Tharp
for DP's 1987 line >

PLAGUE's "smile" might not be so much as an all-out roar! Sculpted by Jim Leonard
for 1984, this is my personal copy from DP's 960 line of hooded horrors >

Cast your vote now or write in a candidate for mask with creepiest smile.

Have a nice day  :)
