Just got this BFI Blu-ray of "The Phantom of the Opera". It's supposed to be the best one out there, so, we'll see.  Check out the details at amazon, if interested. Also waiting on the new "Hunchback" BD from Eureka "Masters of Cinema".

After all these years, I finally got the last two missing "Midnite Movies". My collection (of MM titles) is now complete!    (I know, everybody stopped caring a decade ago.)

Bit late, but in terms of good old monster flicks, I got the Tremors 7 Film Collection Blu-Ray for Christmas last year.

This used to be on locally a lot in the late '60s. I remember really liking it. Don't think I've seen it in decades since.

The funny thing is that when watching the commentary on this last night, Sam Sherman stated that he didnt like the trailer for this as it was for the edited, mostly unreleased version of the movie, instead of the the final product, but the distributors were not going to release an updated one.
