I did one of these for a friend a few years ago. It was a lot of fun. There was nothing "boring" to paint.

When it comes to painting, I don't think I can handle anything beyond "boring". No more than say two colours per part with a very clear demarcation line between the two on that part. (Needless to say, I paint before I assemble.)
