Looks like you can earmark favorite scenes with a beginning time and ending time.

Oh, that's what it is. Thanks!

I'm taking advantage of Scream Factory's "Shocktober Sale" to upgrade to blu-ray on some of my titles while they're discounted a bit:

DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

"The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" is a pretty good light comedy with a horrible musical score.  It is so badly over done.  I would so like to see someone redo the score with something that doesn't give you an aural jab in the ribs with every punchline.

I have the same problem with the Belushi/Ackroyd comedy "Neighbors".

I'd like to have your opinion.

You axed for it!

Vic Mizzy's score is one of the best things about "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken"! I can't imagine the movie without it! Knotts certainly liked it. Mizzy scored every movie Knotts' did for Universal after that. ("Ghost" was the first.) Many composers tried to copy the Mizzy "sound", but couldn't do it. Besides his many feature film scores (for Knotts, Wm Castle and others), he was the go to guy for TV sitcom themes, including "The Addams Family" and Green Acres". There would be an uproar from fans of "Ghost" if somebody tried to replace the score. It's a classic!

Well, if there weren't millions of deluded people we wouldn't be having an election.

Not political - just a comment on the phenomenon of differing opinions, (and wrong ones like yours),  in general.

So, do you hate the ADDAMS FAMILY theme, too?

Not particularly.  I didn't comment on it.  Half hour TV shows are only about 20 minutes of sketch material hacked into segments by commercials - besides, end themes can be fast-forwarded through.  Uninterrupted feature length films are different animals.

I think some films are actually improved by overwhelming scores - like "Back To the Future" or "Raiders of the Lost Arc".

I just think Don Knotts was overpowered by the music in "Ghost".  I wish there were an option to turn the music (and sound effects) down and not mute the dialog.

And, did I mention, you are clearly wrong - whereas I am manifestly correct?  (As always.)

I have a feeling you are going to be all alone in that opinion, around here!  ;D  I thing most people love the "Chicken" score!  :)

Let's here it for Mr. Mizzy, folks!

That's where I got my copy as well. Best Buy had it surprisingly cheap.

Found the Wal-Mart glow in the dark monster releases last night.  hey had a display at the front near the registers.

I ended up getting American Werewolf in London, but I was VERY surprised to see that they did a Frank Langella Dracula.  I may get that also, because I've never seen it, and never seen in in a store before.
