Santa's contract is up for renewal and those in charge want to make changes.  Meanwhile, a disgruntled recipient of the fabled gift giver wants to wreak his own revenge for past Christmases,

Mel Gibson, Walton Goggins, Chance Hurstfield, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Eric Woolfe.

Starkly matter-of-fact presentation of a tale delivered with tongue firmly planted in cheek.  Don't expect humor of the "Yes, I know you're only the hijacker, but I ordered the kosher meal" variety.  This is a tad bit darker.


Considering the tenor of our present times, this feels like the perfect rendition of The Night Before Christmas for this generation.


Not for everyone.  Most will either love or hate it.  I don't see much demand for the middle field.  My 2nd viewing was more enjoyable than the 1st.
