Weird. I just listened to the entire album/CD at work today.

We're kinda wired the same way. Scary.

Jimi Hendrix - Experience Hendrix (comp)
Near perfect collection. Why did they exclude "Spanish Castle Magic?

Jimi Bat

Well the songs they did choose from Axis: Bold As Love represent the album quite nicely.
That's a really nice comp. My only gripe is that like most Hendrix comps they focus on the first half of his career and don't give enough space to the latter period. For me at least that's when Hendrix really blossomed.

What would you have added? Maybe, it should have been a double cd.

There was only 3 JHEx albums. Why buy a Greatest Hits album?

It's just great hearing all the great songs on one cd. I usually buy comps, even if I already have the entire collection of certain bands. Call it laziness.

Wicked Lester

I know there is the Hendrix thread but thought more people would this here.
Back in the mid 70's I bought an 8 track that had some rarely ever heard tracks from his earlier days in blues based stuff.
I have never seen a compilation with any of these songs.

Aside from that one track I cannot  find any thing on CD from this release.
