I got the same for my Creature Mystery Game and Paint-by-Numbers set. Wish I had seen the Rita playset, earlier. :(

Send them a 2nd suggestion.

I sent Super7 my suggestions about accessories for the 3¾" figures.

They sent me a "thank you for your support" reply.

I actually got a fairly detailed response from them referencing each of the requests I made. I was somewhat surprised.

You mean 3.75" people (and Creature)? The Rita would have to be 3 ft. long!

That would make her about 54 ft long.  Looking at pictures, that sounds about right.

At that scale (1:18), it would require a LOT of detail to make it look right.

Anyway, we're not getting either. Be lucky to get a 10" one.

How about asking for a 12" model you could build?

I didn't know S7 did model kits.

Maybe they would be willing to start.  a 1:48 scale Rita would be in the 1 ft. range.  It is also a popular scale for models of all sorts.  You wouldn't have much trouble finding other items for a homemade diorama.

They did say ask.

The main problem with playsets - the large size means more cost to produce it, and is there really a market for it?  We're already paying $20 for the tiny figures alone.  How much plastic would go into making a 3 foot long boat?  So, what, about $100-$150 minimum cost?  Is there really a market for a boat for this film?  Plus the figures?  Creature already made, but add the girl and the hero to save her - that's an additional $40.  So somewhere around $200 for the set.  Not like a Jurassic Park playset that would appeal to a much larger audience and therefore more can be produced thus cutting costs.

Nice idea, but I think it's unlikely it will come to fruition.

That's exactly what I mean. Have you seen the vehicles and playsets Super 7 has done for MOTU and Thundercats? They aren't afraid to go BIG! People would just have to accept that it might not be a perfect scale model with every detail down to the boards on the ship to exact specifications. It would be a playset. That looks pretty darn close to the Rita. And I'd say thank you, because no one else would EVER consider doing it.
