aura of foreboding

The detail on the shoes is superb.  The medallion on the back of the Dracula shoe, the staples on the Frankenstein...  Really cool, actually.  And shoes are in...  really, really in with young guys right now.  I don't really understand it, but these are cool for what they are.  Not for my collection, but I can appreciate the aesthetic.

...Monster Shoes - 4 varieties (not a fan, at all):...

Just somewhat colorful shoes - what's the "monster" part?

I can see someone buying these for a kid that likes the look. but not because they are monster related.

Very little. On the back of the Drac shoe is his medallion. Frank has scars on his, etc.

Really nice detail on the medallion.

This shoe looks more like Karloff than most licensed masks!

I would love the sodas and the Wolfman hair paste. If I could just, you know, buy them. With no hoops or inflated secondary market prices to pay. But alas....I cannot. So i probably shall never have them.

I strangely like the shoes even though they are scant on actual monster detail. I think the color schemes of each captures the essence of the monster they represent. I can't imagine picking them up for myself, but they're nice to look at.
The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed...

Looks a awful lot like this Retro-a-go-go flat metal mask.

Good eye, Mike! Doug designed both, and I think Retro-a-go-go produced these for S7!

So, is it flat, or 3 dimensional? And who's Doug?
