Haunted hearse

I just bought a Groolies Car, complete with box. Nice 1960's Monster kid toy.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Congrats. Cool Frankie ornament, too. Happy New Year (in advance)!

That's a beauty!  Really nice addition.

I wondered why they were so pricey until I realized it is one of those crazy cross-over collectibles.

Car collectors want them, metal toy collectors want them, wind-up toy collectors want them and Halloween/monster/Universal collectors want them.  Really drives up the demand.

Haven't found a nice one cheap enough to make me drop the hammer on it yet.  Maybe one of these days...

And now you add "Hammer" to the mix.

Ooh, that was really badly worded.

I should have stipulated that it was a cheap enough auction to drop the hammer on.  (It sounds like I want to find a cheap enough toy that I'd drop a hammer on it.)

Recently, my monster budget has been seriously curtailed, as I just bought a new THUNDERBIRD!!!

Oops, sorry; not that kind of Thunderbird. Rather a blue 2002 Ford Thunderbird.  I always wanted a convertible roadster of this vintage. Eventually, however, I know that I will get back to my monster projects.

Me? Heard what?

Thanks! Sorry, I didn't catch the reference, at first.

That's a beauty!   I bought a similar vintage convertible Miata last year and it was the greatest purchase I've ever made.   Best TOY ever!

fearliath sent me this cool Creature birthday card! He found it at Target and I don't have a Target. Thanks, dude!  :)

Also got one of those Walmart "Robby the Robot" toys and the Factory Ent. tin tote. It's been a good week!
