Here's the candy, a little melted

Monsters For Sale

Mmm.

I'll bet it's yummy, too.

Japanese candy is something else.  We have Asian markets all around where I live.  I appreciate much of their rice crackers and cookies, and even things like dried squid (think fishy-tasting jerky) - but I have never quite got the hang of enjoying what the Japanese think of as "candy".

I just couldn't taste it. Try to smell it but not much of a smell. I'm sure it is good.

Looks like a cough drop.

Almost pure sugar, doesn't really spoil - like honey.

Nice!  These don't show up on eBay as often as would seem likely - wonder why?

I like the attitude of the Dracula figure.

(Good pictures!)

Yea they are pretty cool. I seen them a while ago on eBay, someone was selling all of them individually.
I picked up a couple of them at a toy show, so I figured little by little I would get them as I see them. It's a challenge to find the rest of them at a reasonable price.

These are my latest grabs.  I still need the Nosferatu, then I'm done until they do more.

Yeah, I'm planning to grab the Fly and Nos myself. Not color variants though. I'm wondering if they're going to get to all 17 of the Horror World figures Bandai made in the middle '80s?

Had they done color variants?  I know Hot Topic has had exclusive stuff for some of the Mystery Mini sets, but I think this one only had variants for The Crow and the Gremlin.  Nosferatu and the Fly were rarer ones, so I was happy to get them.

The Metaluna Mutant was from the first Sci-Fi series, and he was one of the big rares, but no one seemed to know who he was, or cared, and he ended up being an easy score.

When it comes to Hot Topic, most of the consumers who shop there almost never realize what is available. Especially Horror related.

There were variants (or chase fig.) for Hitchcock and Cthulhu. Can't remember if they were b/w, or glow?

There's a b&w Hitchcock and I *think* (knowing how dangerous that is) and b&w Nosferatu. I had no idea the Mutant was uncommon, but I'm glad it wasn't expensively popular!

Hitchcock and Cthulhu had the variants in the specialty store set.  That's the one comic shops, toys r us, and so on carry. Pretty much the standard set.

I misremembered.  He's a 1/24, not a 1/72 like I thought.  Those were the Mars Attacks! Martian and Rocketeer.  But I guess he'd be considered an uncommon.  As far as I know, there's only one Nosferatu, but the colors they chose are muted enough that he could easily pass for either.  Nowhere close to the warm colors Sideshow dressed him in.
