Great job, Don't sweat posting your kits with all the pros here, They are pros, but that is how you see the Creech ,That's what is so cool about this hobby, everybody has a style and you can always learn something new.

I really like the color contrasts and metallic sheen.  It gives it a total reptilian look, IMO.  Good Job!

Truly nice job GP, and innovative tips!

I never cease to be amazed at the time and attention to detail that the talent here shows. As a kid, there was always some frustration with not being able to attend to the detail for lack of the right tools (or at  times, the knowledge) of how to best achieve these. I remember the most aggrivating was trying not to make the Medallion for Dracula to not look sloppy! I've not built any models in better than 10 years (my last being a Space Shuttle model Rocket) which has a hole other set of rules and guidelines and materials due to it's design for lauching/ flying. I am envious of all of you, who can sequester the time to work on these with the enthusiam and zeal that is evident in the final product. My creative ventures are now focused pre-Halloween and pre-Christmas, on life size scale, and as they take a lot of my time, I have to limit to these so that my hobbies do not intrude upon my time with Little man.

WHAT??? You guys really are TOO kind! Where else on the world wide web would one go and receive this kind of encouragement?? This group ROCKS!
Yes, Jim...from what i recall [remember i built this thing in '94 and can't remember what i just had for lunch today!]  the green spray paint formed kind of a skin on the Vaseline when it dried, but just melted right in when wiped off. Using this method [look at me, suddenly i have a ''method''!] allowed be to get right up into the indentation separating the green from the belly. There was NO over spray.

And Scatter, it gives me great pleasure to share some monster goodness with Jordan. As has been said here many times in the past...we have to nurture and inspire these future generations of monster lovers so there's someone here to pass the torch to after we're gone. Besides, what's cooler than getting monster junk in the mail? That reminds me, Captain Company STILL owes me a mail order Hunchback long box kit from 1965. Think i can get the new FM to honor this??  ;D Thanks again for all your responses...Godzilla will follow, but i want to wait for a sunny day to take pics to capture the metal flake look better. I actually have a Billiken and Marx Creech painted in the same manner...will shoot them all together.

Great work Gasport, I'm glad Scatter "made you do it", that way we could all appreciate them.

Gasport, I've never seen the buildings (Godzilla) done in such a way that you see fire through the windows---which naturally is exactly what you'd see.  Awesome.
