Ok,so right away I know some of ya don't believe in paranormal activity. Fine. I used to be a total believer but now use logic/science/reason if anything "weird" happens in my house which in the last 10 years is probably over 100. It's the land because a couple other houses on my block(that I know of) have had things happen too. A little over half have been explained,the rest.... .

So I'm sitting in my room reading a Marvel Masterworks Menace Volume 1 and having a cold bev-er-age. I look up and notice that my Pop-Top repro witch I got from Bane (thanks Jim) a couple years ago is missing. I got 2 figs that year. A purple witch and purple executioner to replace ones that were stolen as a small kid by bullies.

It was on the same shelf in the same place since day one. Now with all the stuff I have (tho not anywhere NEAR what some of you guys have) it's possible that it has been missing for weeks and I just did not notice it. However once I noted it gone I took a flashlight and looked behind the TV and every inch of that wall floor area. Nada.

This is not the first time something like this has happened. A couple years ago I had 4 Marx gangster figs on a shelf. A full set in red and a single in yellow. One day I noticed a red fig was not in place. The wife and I looked all over the room and could not find it. Finally a month or so later it just "showed up" in plane sight on another shelf.

Now to add to this after looking behind everything along that wall the witch was on I walk out of the room to tell the wife it was really missing,didn't fall off during a hard storm or anything. I come back in the room and my clock radio is on with classical music playing at a low level. That is what I wake up to. The weirdest part is that my brother who was a big classical music/symphony fan passed away 3 weeks ago today and this happened at almost the same time he died.

If ya find the witch again, set it in the same place...but, this time(if you have a camcorder) set it up to film that area, and see what you catch...
If ya dont have a camcorder to use, try lying down a thin layer of baby powder around the witch, to see what visible prints you could get.

Also, have you ruled out the pets?
Could it be friends playing a joke on you?
keep us posted...I'm always interested in the unexplained/paranormal...

This was on a shelf almost 6' up right over the TV. The pets are not allowed in this room. We are pretty much hermits except for work /yard and shopping. No one but me or the wife has been in that room for months and I was with them the whole 2 minutes. Weird huh?

You never leave the house or let anyone else in there. Did you ever consider the possibility that the witch just got tired of looking at you two??

interesting..... have you ever had yer house checked out before?
does that room feel different than any of the other rooms?
Tempature? or just odd feeling?
Have you heard anything strange? noises? talking? anything that isnt explainable?
how big is this Witch? in inches?
is the alarm set on the clock radio? could explain why it comes on...or possible short/bad connection/bad plug-in....

I've had a bit of weirdness happening at the house lately, but was dismissing it all with a breeze/wind. Every once in a while when I'm rocking my son to sleep, his door opens. I HAVE ALWAYS discounted paranormal goings on but most recently, the door has been latched when it's opened.

Then, one day last week, the gate at the top of the stairs came crashing down the stairs, while we were having dinner. The top hinge, which is plastic, broke, but this is a plastic molded gate that is only about a year old.

This is weird, I am a total believer of ghosts. I personal think i see them sometimes from the corner of my eye (like shadows) and sometimes i hear stuff. Werid!!!

I believe the two happenings were coincidental of each other and totally separate. I twas just weird the 2nd happened while looking into the first. The witch will show up eventually somewhere in the house. Probably in plain sight. BTDT many times.

Both my sisters that were there when my Bro passed have had weird things happen as well.
My oldest sister and husband live on 5 acres in WA. Woods,fields , grass etc. The nearest neighbor is several hundred yards away. My Bro was really into golf. Over the last 3 weeks they have found several Titalist (My Bro's brand) golf balls in odd places and places they had just been a few minutes before.

My other sis who lives 1/2 hr from me was at his condo with her husband and 18 Y.O son moving a few pieces of small furniture out. There was a scary looking bag lady by their SUV and asked if they had anything she could have. My sis got spooked and didn't want anything to do with this lady and just told her NO. Suddenly she hears the lady call her by name and say "You are not doing this right" . She was more than a bit shaken. My Bro was huge into charity.

This is getting really interesting.

Doc,No I have not even considered ghost hunters checking out our house.  98% of the activity is non threatening and non violent. The other 2%,I guess it depends how much balls you have to just shrug it off.

The witch disappearing, reminds me of the "Kitchen Dimension" story....
Quite a long time ago, me and my Father were working on a project in the kitchen.
He was using a part of a clothes hanger, about 8 or 9 inches of it(the bottom part,that's straight)...
Anyways, he dropped it in the floor, we searched the whole kitchen, and never did find where it went to...
Even moved the fridge out, and no dice.....
So, I made a joke about having another dimension, where this piece of clotheshanger went to...
I have no idea where it went, or where it is now.....
But, that's not the only strange thing that has happened in this house....but, alas...that is another story.

I live in Northern IL. We have basically a ghostbusters ad in the Daily paper. A friend at works wife called em for weird stuff going on in their place and she obtained a video of evidence my friend did NOT want to see. He's pretty much a puss in this area.

As long as nothing violent happens I'm ok with this. It makes life a bit more intriguing.

I'll get back to ya on that. We have had 90-100 weird things happen in the last 10 years. About half explainable. Some subtle but some that would have the common person totally creeped out.
