Custom 29" Witchie-Poo H. R. Puff-in-stuff figure
« on: December 11, 2009, 05:37:21 PM »
Hi gang,

Most folks on here between my age 43 ( no cracks about the old please) and 50, will no doubt remember Jack Wild and Billy Hayes who stared in HR Puff-in-Stuff.... I loved the show... I think I was 7 at the time... Sadly Jack Wild who played Jimmy passed away back in 2003 from Cancer...but  Billy  Hayes is still very much with us... I was commissioned recently to make a Witchie-Poo figure and I thought I'd share a head shot of it with you...:) I hope it brings back fond or maybe not so fond childhood memories.. I'll post a completed figure picture when I  can...:)  Have a wonderful and safe weekend!!!

Nice work! I love Pufnstuf, glad they finally released the movie on DVD this year.

Awesome!  It looks just like her!  I used to watch that show when I was a kid!

Thank you honestly for the kind words... in the last push here for filling holiday commissions... but this Witchie Poo was a perfect diversion... my next major commission after this is a George Reeves Superman and 2 Mole men with an atomic disruptor gun.... also a Barnabas Collins (Frid) with his wolf cane... another of my all time favorite TV shows from childhood.... I'll definitely get the completed pics of Witchie up this coming week...:)

Wishing all a spectacular and warm weekend... it's 23 degrees here in Boston MA....burrrr!

My wife got the DVD set a few years ago for H.R. Pufnstuf.  Loved it as a kid.  The likeness is amazing.  I swear Michael Jackson was starting to look like Jack Wild (Jimmy) did as a kid.
