Well, I was at the show on Monday, although I had to miss Tuesday and probably Wednesday. Damn!  :'(

A great show it was! Lots of laughs and screams during The Birds and Psycho! Everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun being there, and a lot more audience participation. John got a good laugh out of the audience during the raffle when he said he had thousands of parakeets loose in the auditorium (ie we had just watched The Birds).  >:D

Here are some pics;

First, a cool model of Godzilla, Ghidrah, and Rodan:

Next, my best friend whom I got addicted to the Portage shows, posing with a Frankenstein poster.  >:D

A shot of one of my favorite scenes from The Birds...

A wicked ghost thing hanging from the entry to the concession stand:

Dracula, watching Plan 9 From Outer Space in the comfort of his castle:

Even the concession stand was decked out for Halloween!  :D

A display over Vic's table, who always has a huge assortment of awesome movies at fantastic prices!:

Facing the front doors from the concession entrance:

Arachnaphobics stay away!

A better shot:

Close-up of the vampire in the display:

The display as a whole (or at least what I could fit in my camera's field of view!):

Long view of the concession stand:

Jason and the Argonauts display:

And another angle:

I'll be back on Thursday, and maybe even Wednesday if I luck out. I'll post more pics then. And I'll definitely have pics of the big Friday event!  :)

If anyone here hasn't gone there yet, check it out! You can't possibly cram more fun into a single evening at a lower price anywhere!

Well, I had to miss Tuesday and Wednesday. Argh!  >:( But I was there Thursday for some serious fun, including one of my all-time faves, Phantasm II!  :)

Here are some pics.

I love this scene from Phantasm II!

Costume contest tomorrow (Friday). $100 FIRST PRIZE! Come on out, all you local UMA fans and members![/color]

Another sign for the costume contest! Vic can really draw!  ;)

Some cool barbarian stuff:

You should see this thing stand up and scream!

This would look great on my front door!

The Portage shows that Time Tunnel Toys puts on seem to be growing. Look, so far 60-some new sign ups for the mailing list. I blurred them for privacy matters:

Just hanging around...

Maybe a father/son night? Not sure, but they are regulars...

And finally, some cool stuffed toys:

I'll be posting lots of pics from the Halloween Costume Contest and other stuff tomorrow night. Stay tuned!  >:D

Ok, finally got time to post some pics of the costume contest!  :)

Bad news is that I didn't end up making it. Had a small family emergency and got there last minute, so I didn't have time to dress up.  :-[

Anyway, there were about 15 adults and 6 kids who participated in the contest. Very nice stuff! Here are some pics:

The rest were all blurry and not salvageable even in Photoshop.  >:(

But I did get some decent videos. The camera tended to pan in on some of the cute girls participating. Has a mind of its own (whistles innocently).  ;) Not sure how to embed these, so here are the links.

The Spaceman won first prize, and John awarded a second and third prize, and for the kids, the one with The Claw (a huge monster gift machine) won. I love that kid's costume with the huge werewolf head! So cute! LOL!  :D

Finally, here is our host, Big John himself! Masked, and unmasked! Let's give him a big round of applause for putting on such great shows!  :)
