Sorry if this is too far off topic here. And sorry about the last minute notice but I just glanced at TVGuide and saw this listed for tonight.

Tonight at nine o'clock The History Channel is running a two hour programme  called "Life After People" and it trys to predict what would happen to Earth if the human race were to disappear. Included will be looks at the abandoned villages around Chernobyl and other abandoned places, as well as predictions of how our major population centers would decay without our prescence.

Probably of interest to Sci-Fi fans, I figured.

Nine o'clock. Two hours. The History Channel.

Yikes! What a scary premise for a documentary!

I think Harry Belafonte or Will Smith or Charlton Heston might survive, though.

Fascinating show!  Hooray, cockroaches will withdraw a little!  Yikes, pigeons will thrive! Cats heard for higher ground.  Dogs join the wolves.  And no surprise--the plants, the plants--they take it all apart.  I keep thinking of Mowgli "Letting in the jungle..."
