It was Terry The Kid.
He told me a long time ago that he once shot a man just to watch him die... but then he got distracted and missed it. He said friends tried to describe it but it just wasn't the same.

Point is... he won't make that mistake twice.  ;)

THANK YOU for taking care of business, Terry, Max, et al. I suppose I can be as big a pain as anyone, but I am sure glad to know you've got our best interests at heart.

Troops, you better listen to the General! He don't carry that gun in his avatar for nothin'! Hell, he once shot a man just for snorin'!

Or was that Billy the Kid?

No, that was me alright. In fact, it happened at Wonderfest last year. We were up all night long putting the display together and when it was finally time to get some much needed sleep, Creepy Jeff starts snoring in our room. I cocked the trigger on my Smith and Wesson and told him to stop now, or he'll sleep for eternity. That's all it took. Never heard a peep out of him after that. Didn't even say anything about hats or shirts; just complete silence.

If I may paraphrase Rathbone:

You're not a General.

You're a moderator.

Actually Max, it was John Wesley Harding who shot the man snoring, but it is said he was trying to aim just over the man's head to wake him up, and being groggy-eyed he aimed to low, and the rest is history.

Thank you. Couldn't remember who it was.

At one time the TV ad for that Time/Life book seemed to be on every channel.

I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

When you hear that whistle blowin', do ya hang your head and cry?

Ya know, for a travelin' man like myself, wherever I hang my head is home.

All this talk of shooting and gun violence so badly upset my delicate sensibilities that I had to drain the blood of two victims tonight, just to calm my frayed nerves!

Don't suppose you could dig them back up in a couple of weeks, after the flesh has seasoned ?  Maybe our beloved General can send a few violaters my way.  When Terry bans them, I could can them.

Sounds like a plan! A plan I like, I might add.
