THE CONTINUING STORYLINE GAME

RULES
1. must have at least 10 words
2.can not post twice in a row

3.just continue to follow the story, and we will see where it goes.
I will start it off:


It was a cold and dark stormy night, the wind.......

was howling like a lost soul on the moors when suddenly a piercing scream echoed from the old graveyard and then...

But then I saw a shadow...  A shape.  A form so frightening that until this very day I shudder whenever I remember it.

But that scream.  That terrified piercing scream.   It must have been a woman.  As frightened as I was,  I knew she needed help.  I looked around for a weapon.

it was newly renovated but had been on the market for quite a while......

I wrenched a rusting iron paling loose from the ruined cemetery fence--it had some weight and I figured it might do if I needed a weapon-- and then I followed the dim shape as best I could until it became a part of the darkness and I lost sight of it.
