Larry,  I have to agree the Creature is one of the coolest designs ever.  John Tucky of XO Facto had a beautiful rendition of the character sculpted by Jeff Yeagher on display at one time.  This was a great kit.  You might want to consider contacting John for one.  Beware though.  There are some dirtbag recasters out there with inferior copies.  Accept no substitutes!!!!

I know many of the films take a hit, but I would have to say The Mummy ranks tops for me.

In the words of Nelson Munz, Haha!
Scott think it would be better if you kept your recasting jibes on the forums they belong like the Blubhouse and Model Hypocritizens.

DRACULA!! I love all monsters & imagi-movies, but I've always had a partiality to vampires.

Other Universal favs:
Frankenstein (Glenn Strange)
Wolfman
WereWolf of London
Phantom (Chaney)
The Creature

OH come ON!
Even if we wanted this kind of sophomoric thing in the UMA (we don't), this thread is a poll about monsters in General Discussion. Please don't hijack it to act like high schoolers. Battles on the UMA over the recasting issue were already addressed by General Terry.
Please discuss model things on the Model board, and try to leave the infighting out of it.

back on topic-
MY favorite has to be Frankenstein's Monster. Just so iconic, so adaptable.

- Dracula

Hands down. From seeing the movie on a Halloween night hosted by Count Gore, to my toys and vampires in general as my favorite monster, Drac wins for me.

I voted for Frankensteins monster. Ghost of is my favorite Uni film. Creech is very cool but a later period. Dracula is good for what it is. I like MONSTERZ!. So Drac while cool in a macabre sorta way just don't fill the bill for me. The Wolfman I have always found flaws with. Supernatural powers should have given Talbot the strength of a powerlifter and agilility of an gifted athlete. He should have been tossing villagers against trees instead of tussling with em.
In my book the big green guy is the coolest. Oh wait, the mummy. Nah,some dead shmoe wrapped in toilet paper. The coolest mummy ever is from Johnny Quest.
