Just once in memory.  I do remember that John Wayne wore the same shirt, vest, and hat, but I believe he did that in all his westerns. ;D

The Spangler

  This is incredibly difficult to narrow down to 5 and 5!  I'm such a big fan of the 50-60 minute "oaters" from the 30's, 40's and early 50's, but I can't reasonably rank them with the many feature length bigger budget westerns.  I love almost all the movies mentioned so far, so I''ll just add two that haven't been mentioned but are definitely in my top 5.  "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" and "Ride the High Country".
