Ben Cooper/Collegeville masks
« on: June 13, 2009, 10:15:04 PM »
I generally don't pay a lot for these but do really like em and the take up very little space on a wall. So if you have the following ones at a reasonable price LMK. Also I loathe slavepal and don't touch it.

Looking for both but especially the one on the left.

Need all but the Frank

Top two only

Only need vampi girl in bottom right

Mask only

Vamp with purple shroud and the skull with hat.
Prefer all to be near new condition.

Thanks.

I posted these yesterday and I'm not quite sure what happened to the post. Knowing me, I probably screwed it up.
Anyway, I've got these doubles I'd be willing to part with. Drop me a line or post here.

Here are some giant (4 foot tall) plastic display masks I boosted from Target a few years ago.

They're not for sale but I thought I'd share the photo.

Those are great - I would LOVE to have a set of those, or at least the Frankenstein!

I got the giant Target Frankie from Bobby "toyranch" Beeman a few years ago.  I've never hung it up because there is a little crack by one of the hanger holes and I don't want it to spread.  It's lying flat atop an exercise machine.  It's not losing any weight, though.  I'd like to figure out a way to hang it up without damaging it.  Is there a discreet way to repair it from behind?  I could just super glue some kind of patch over the crack, but I don't want to screw up a cool piece.

In other Collegeville news, I'm closing in on completing the 1980 Universal Monsters set.  I just need Wolf Man.  I've got Bride, Creature, Mutant, Frankenstein, Dracula.  There's no Mummy, right?

I've got a pretty good collection of Ben Cooper masks in the 70s Aurora glow-head boxes and the earlier pumpkin boxes.  I'd like to have more in the 60s Spook Town boxes.  Those don't turn up often.  There is a really cool Chaney-style Phantom in the Spook Town box.  That might be at the top of my Ben Cooper want list.

And now back to our regularly scheduled channel um thread.
Nice stuff.Post it in the collectibles.
BTW,Big J and all. I'm still looking primarily for masks. Don't have room to display costumes. 200 sq ft thats all the house allows unless I want to piss off the wife.

Bumping this back up. Almost got busted by the company snitch checking stuff out on Ebay today.
Offer still holds. My PC still sucks as far as loading Feebay, my laptop is still down. That price is delivered to me. Also if you have vacuform masks you are thinking about tossing on ebay, send me a pic first. I might save you the hassle of doing an auction.

In the past we have had issues with our comps at work sometimes being incredibly slooow due to people downloading stuff. We also have a policy which we all have to sign against web surfing on the company comps, even during breaks or lunch time. I was checking out some Ben Cooper masks on the bay when this guy came up on my blind side and I minimized the screen a split second in time. Whew!
It's bad enough that the head of IT can tap into your comp at anytime to see what you are doing. I don't think they do this anymore but they were doing Big Brother random checks early in the year. C:)

They do that at my job, too.  Strange, since I'm a reporter, and there's no telling what I might legitimately be viewing online at any given time.
