"Museum of Horrors" Horror Host - Kerry Gammill
« on: May 09, 2009, 10:37:16 AM »
Does anyone else remember a Horror Host named Professor Cerberus on a show called "Museum of Horrors"? It ran in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area during my high school days 1972-1975. It was on NBC at 10:30 p.m. each Saturday night. If memory serves me correctly, It was replaced by Saturday Night Live. I seem to remember hearing that
future comic artist Kerry Gammill was involved with the show. I do know that one of our current local newscasters
named Jody Dean played the Frankenstein Monster on the skits with Professor Cerberus.
In my elementary school days, we had a Dallas horror host named Gorgon. He appeared in person occasionally at Big Town Mall in Mesquite, a suburb of Dallas. He was played by Bill Camfield on local channel 11. Bill Camfield was more famous locally for playing Icky Twerp on "Slam Bang Theatre" each morning before school. "Slam Bang Theatre" gave us local kids their first taste of The Three Stooges.

Wish I was a kid again!
