I have that figure. So I guess the one offered on Ebay is not the only one around !?!?I found it in a vintage toy shop in Tokyo 3 years ago. I paid around 5000 Yens ( 73 USD more or less ) if I remember correctly.I'm a ( casual) King Kong (... and monsters stuff in general ! ) collector for around 20 years and never seen another one before. I have a fair knowledge of what was available in Japan, as part of the Bullmark and Mego line and was really thrilled to find something I didn't know existed ! I still don't know if it's a prototype or if it was released only in some area of Japan as it was sometimes the case with some toys back then, making it hard to locate. It might also have been one of the last Kong toy released by Bullmark and offered in fewer quantities than the wind up or the standard vinyl figure of the same type ?I don't know how to post pictures on the forum but will be glad to do it if anyone can help me with that.

Here's another toy I just now came across. It's a mini-vinyl so probably about 3-4" tall and I'm not even 100% sure it's meant to represent Kong, but the face does look like the Bullmark we've been talking about. But I think it may be made by Marusan? I'm not sure. Apparently, it's pretty rare, but a friend of mine might actually own it. But he's at SDCC now so I'll contact him about it next week.
Boy, I wish I could get ALL my grails in under 6 months and for less than $20.
