While contract terms can be as varied as there are individual contracts, typically there is a sell-off period at the expiration of a license. In my experience it's often of 90 days. Once that sell-off period ends, the ex-licensee is no longer allowed to sell the product and there are typically contractual provisions for destruction.

That license end date has no effect at all on merchandise that has already been sold to other entities, meaning - and John Pertwee has mentioned Spirit as an example - any third party could continue to sell the product until it sells through, even an individual collector.

By-the-way, Universal has raised the price of their Mold-A-Rama figures to $8.00 this year.

The Mummy Moldy is on eBay in the same price range.  I guess the Frank and Creature sold well last year.

Too bad Universal didn't insist on more detailed figures.  These really could have been a lot nicer.  Something even die-hard collectors would have wanted.

The original Frank is rather crude.  Im glad they are staying that style.   Any more detail and it loses its charm.

Looks like Spirit has a new Glenn Strange Frankenstein shirt this year.  Have not seen this in store, unfortunately.  Just the group shirt they had last year.  I might order this bad boy.

Kohls has a lot of Halloween shirts on their site.  And a good number of UM shirts among them.  You do have to dig a bit for some of them though.
