I do think this Universal Turtles set of figures have come out really well and would look great together as a set. They're not quite for me (mainly as I don't collect Turtles), but both Wolfman and Creature are definitely the two that could tempt me and for anyone who focuses on one of these monster characters I can see them picking up the Turtle version.Ian
There's an upcoming animated Ninja Turtles movie that looks interesting and aimed at more modern audiences - looks kind of like the recent Spider-Man Spider Verse films, so I can see Neca pushing their figure line to ride on the new films coat tails.
NECA IS CALLING THE NOSSY SHOWN AT SDCC AS "COLOR VERSION".
Oh wow! Was waiting for these guys.Honestly, I'm confused. haI thought we were gonna get Tokka and Razza or Bebop and Rocksteady as Wolfman and Creature. Not characters we'd already seen in the line. A little disappointed, but these still look really good.
I'm surprised we didn't see anything for Shredder. They teased a silhouette ages ago. And I think Tokka and Rahzar would have been fine additions. Maybe theyd be too big? The regular figures are BIG boys.
It's an admittedly silly thing to be irritated about, but I'm more annoyed than I should be that there's going to be both Wolfman and Frankenstein versions of Raph and both Ygor and Creature versions of Leo. lol
Looks like Lootcrate is also releasing NECA designed versions of the 90's Burger King toys: https://lootcrate.com/products/loot-frightAs much as I hate collecting Lootcrate type stuff, I'm probably going to cave and get this. Starting with Frankenstein in September, but sounds like we'll get all four figures (Dracula, Creature and Wolfman too).
Well, the original line DID go around the horn twice, with the 1 April and each turtle as 2 monsters. So this is keeping in line with that, to a point.
