I do think this Universal Turtles set of figures have come out really well and would look great together as a set. They're not quite for me (mainly as I don't collect Turtles), but both Wolfman and Creature are definitely the two that could tempt me and for anyone who focuses on one of these monster characters I can see them picking up the Turtle version.

Yeah. I haven't cared about Ninja Turtles since I was a kid, either. I have no TMNT collectibles other than these.

There's an upcoming animated Ninja Turtles movie that looks interesting and aimed at more modern audiences - looks kind of like the recent Spider-Man Spider Verse films, so I can see Neca pushing their figure line to ride on the new films coat tails.

They're designs are based on the 90s movies, too. So they have nostalgia to sell them too.

I had to look to see what a "NOSSY" was.

Oh wow! Was waiting for these guys.
Honestly, I'm confused. ha
I thought we were gonna get Tokka and Razza or Bebop and Rocksteady as Wolfman and Creature. Not characters we'd already seen in the line. A little disappointed, but these still look really good.

Yeah, it's really odd IMO to now have two versions of the same Turtles, especially since Tokka and Razza seemed like such perfect fits for Wolfman and Creature. It almost makes me wonder if that was the original idea, but they changed it for some reason.

I'd assume Shredder is still Dracula, but that would make him the only Monster that's a TMNT villain. Kind weird

I'm surprised we didn't see anything for Shredder.  They teased a silhouette ages ago.  And I think Tokka and Rahzar would have been fine additions.  Maybe theyd be too big?  The regular figures are BIG boys.

It's an admittedly silly thing to be irritated about, but I'm more annoyed than I should be that there's going to be both Wolfman and Frankenstein versions of Raph and both Ygor and Creature versions of Leo. lol

Looks like Lootcrate is also releasing NECA designed versions of the 90's Burger King toys: https://lootcrate.com/products/loot-fright

As much as I hate collecting Lootcrate type stuff, I'm probably going to cave and get this. Starting with Frankenstein in September, but sounds like we'll get all four figures (Dracula, Creature and Wolfman too).

Having saved the original Burger King Toys, and the Remco mini monsters, I am able to pass on these. If I hadn't had the originals, I would be all over all these variants, lol. If they put them in miniature Aurora Long Boxes, lotsa wallets gonna be crying, lol. That's like quadruple dipping at that point. Neat to see them doing them this way. Creature should be especially cool.

That lootcrate frankenstein looks pretty neat...transparent green head and hands.   Green jacket!!!  But I'll pass.  Money's a bit tight right now.

Well, the original line DID go around the horn twice, with the 1 April and each turtle as 2 monsters.  So this is keeping in line with that, to a point.

That is true, though I got the main four and didn't worry about the others at the time. I would be less annoyed if the duplicates were "lesser" Universal Monsters. I could easily just ignore the Ygor Leonardo existed, but Raph is both Frankenstein's Monster and Wolfman, two of the more popular Monsters.

Assuming Shredder is Dracula, either pair Wolfman and Creature with other characters (having more than one villain would be nice), or they should have made Splinter into Wolfman and removed Ygor entirely. I'm giving this more thought that I should be probably...
