Congratulations on winning this amazing piece and although I don't have any extra information about it for you, it does look to be a much sharper sculpt than your teal one, which would leave me to believe that it's some kind of test shot or very early release.Very nice,Ian

So you arent goung to address how he claims to have had it since he was a kid AND purchased from a marx employee in the 80s???
If that was a prototyoe or test shot it would have gotten more than 1 bid and sold for much more than $99. That should tell you all you need to know.
Esp when people only a month or so back were fighting over a 60s teal.
An extreme example, but you'd think something as rare as a "test shot" would have gotten similar attention. From my experience I sure think it would have.
I figured you were his spokeman with all the "FP collection" this and "FP collection" that so I just assumed you were privy to information.
Im suggesting since the story chasnges it along with the popsicle blues came from the same facilities as other mexican repops when the molds were still nice. And the reason you dont see a bunch is because the repops are produced in small batches. Not hundreds at a time like Marx most likely would.
