X-plus Revenge of the Creature kit coming!

The one attacking the light house is the plastic kit. The other is a pre painted vinyl item.

I think they should make a styrene model kit of each. They're both lovely.

Speaking of the Revenge of the Creature, I just picked up a very nice orange Marx figure today. Actually won on eBay, so it’ll be a few days before it arrives.

A photo from Adam "Kreature Kid" Dougherty's fb post of what is reported to be the production color of the kit - much like the Aurora kits - , along with a group of other pics from X-Plus, including of an "exclusive" mouth closed second head. Exclusive to what or where, I don't yet know. Also of note, the Bride, Mummy, and Wolf Man tease.

I noticed on the flyer for what's coming soon is...Kharis the mummy - All the recent action figures have been Karloff's Im-Ho-Tep, so nice to see they're going with the Chaney mummy instead.

Hmmmmm. The colours are too muted for my taste. I'm a purist. I'd like something done in glossy enamel and more closely resembling James Bama's classic Aurora box art in hardcore 1960's monster kid style.

Yeah, it's expensive, which is why I only have the 2 Aurora Creature kits. Next time I have a windfall, I'll get this one done.

You can paint them anyway you want.  Red lips, green lips, bright green, mossy green.  It's beautifully detailed.

No, I can't paint them any way I want. The details are lost on me since I can't paint details. With me it doesn't go much beyond one piece, one colour.
