The character re-emerged briefly in 1986, looking even more ghoulish >



The decade also hosted SINESTRE who enjoyed a two-year run in DP's catalog >

   

Lower line versions of the DPS PHANTOM/ERIK were never far behind >

      

Savage Eye took up the Universal license in the latter 1970s
but their version was not especially Chaney-esque >



For flawless screen accuracy, you'd have to look up Mike Hill
and see if he'd make you one of his >



The reliable option remains TrickorTreatStudios' PHANTOM,
still available in two different finishes >

   

What's left are these oddities, caught lurking in my photo files:
The Cagney PHANTOM from 1957 was never marketed commercially
but the mold is out in our collecting community. It may still be possible to
score a casting >



The same goes for castings of the 1943 overface >



This ad surfaced in an old monster magazine; fairly certain it's Illusive Concepts'
minus the hassle of hair application >
