Watched it today. No major restoration, as you would have guessed. Still plenty of scratches and spots. I usually like a bit of contrast, but they went a little too far. Makes it kind of dark. No heavy handed degraining/denoising. It's a bit jumpy, including the new (I assume) English intertitles, so what's up with that? Mostly sepia. The tints are not overdone. The piano score was well done! No extras.
Hmm, how does it look compared to the Kino/Eureka/BFI Blu-Ray releases?
I don't have either one of those, so I don't know.
And guessing you can't do screencaps of the release?

Hmm, does it look like they just put a B&W filter on the BFI or is it just the one most similar to it?
At this point, what would everyone suggest is the best version to get? I only have cheap, public domain copies.
