Hi members!

Can anyone tell me any details about this or direct me to some website that could?

For example, how many others were made?

And how do I go about putting it together/having it painted if I should decide to do it?

Thanks!

Initial offering information from the producer. Unknown how many were made. It can be painted with acrylics (that's how I have done them) but they may be compatible with oil based paints. Can't say as I have never tried those on a cold cast kit. Its a neat kit though.

Thanks for the welcome Mike Scott!

The link provided is not the one I own. The one I have is HUGE!

How do I post pics here?

Does anyone in the forum know where I might find someone to paint it? I would NEVER paint it myself.

Mike Scott

There are several people around here who paint models. People can also recommend someone they know. If you don't hear from anybody, put a want ad in the "Classifieds".

You need your own photos/files host and link to them in your message using the Forums Code [img].

Oops, my bad. Whenever I see "Frank in Chains and chair" my mind immediately gravitates to the Bowen one. Apologies!

Ooh Wee! That thing looks huge! (Even without something for scale.)

I am trying to get you some info at the clubhouse. I will check back in with whatever they tell me.

Here's the scoop from someone in the know:

Sculpted by Jeff Yagher (I believe the painted example is by Saul Alvarez)
1/6 scale (and yes, it's huge. I passed on the original release because of the size)
Originally produced by Rob Salony (about 5-6 years ago?)
Paul Gill acquired the rights about three years ago.
The kit is currently out of production although Paul announced plans as recently as last year to rerelease the kit with an overhauled base; Paul's announced plan was to feature the monster and chair alone - no stone wall backdrop.
