Mad Monster Clubhouse!
« on: August 02, 2021, 06:22:47 PM »
My own personal Witch’s Dungeon or Epic Universe at 1/9 scale!!! The very first peek at what I call the Mad Monster Clubhouse! It is still very much a work in progress. The homemade lab table I created is a poor man’s Monsterizer; complete with working lights, to replace the Planet of the Apes hand-me-down that the Castle originally came with. I have a lot more monster figures and scenes I want to set up in here.

'Looks like a nice cozy place to bring a monster back to life. 'Well done, BRICK.

Great looking set and fits in perfectly with how Lego would have made it back in the day.

Top job all round and liking forward to seeing some more setups with it.

The Mad Monster Clubhouse, Part II. No matter how much they try to avoid it, there is always drama at the Dracula family reunion!

DOUBLE TAKES!!! Below are some shots from the Mad Monster Clubhouse that showcase different Mego-esque versions of the monsters. Whether it be different companies or different versions of the same monster.
•   First we have the EMCE version of the Im-Ho-Tep Mummy and the the AHI version of the Kharis Mummy.

•   Next we have a custom AHI Karloff Frankenstein and a customized Mego Glenn Strange figure.

•   Then there is an EMCE Phantom of the Opera and a Mego Masque of the Red Death Phantom.

•   Finally, we have a custom Mego Invisible Man; clothed and au naturel!  :)

That's really fun!   This is why my kids need to have kids soon, so I can go out in the dirt and play army men with them, and then come inside and decorate their monster castle!

Can’t you just hear the sounds of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor rising through the catacombs? I just LOVE this new addition to the Mad Monster Clubhouse! But you never know what you are going to find when you do a Google search for “Scale Model Organ”. :) I painted it lavender because I imagined that that would be the type of color Mego would have used for an accessory like this, back in the day.  It works just perfect with the EMCE Phantom!
