As much as I love the modern comic book movies (for the most part), Superman the Movie is still my favorite of the lot. Donner did such a great job in capturing the spirit of the character.

I forgot he directed THE OMEN (1976) too.  He had a pretty amazing body of work. RIP to a fine ditector.
