THE INVADERS (1967-1968)
« on: April 30, 2021, 10:06:11 AM »
I just finished watching the complete series in order and really enjoyed seeing it again after so many years.  Even when it originally aired, i think I missed many episodes as some I certainly didn't remember.  It's such a shame the planned 3rd season was cancelled. I really liked how the stories were evolving.  Being a huge fan of THE FUGITIVE, the similar Quinn Martin layouts were a treat for me and with many of the same guest stars.  Loved Roy Thinnes' David Vincent character.  He was perfect in the role and I especially loved Kent Smith coming on as a main Believer in later episodes.  Great '60s sci-fi that holds up extremely well.  Oh, and Dominic Frontiere's main theme is so memorable.

Do-dee-do Do-dee-dee! (Isn't that how it goes?)

I should invest in a set. I'd love to see the series, again!

Mike, did you watch the extended pilot yet? Pretty cool to see for the first time.

I've been a little distracted, but I'm going to try to watch it today.

Watched the first 4 episodes, but didn't realize the extended ep. 1 was on disc 5.  :(  Lots of fun watching those old shows, after all this time!  :)
