...  The Taco Doritos they have been selling for the last 20 to 30 years are oddly distributed. ...

I tried that site and found out that they are not available from ANY local supermarket.

But, the ARE available from 5 small vendors - all of them liquor stores and gas station mini-marts.

That really does sound odd.

Update. They had 20 or so bags of these Taco Dorito's at a local grocery store. Neither the Walmart or Target across the street had from the grocery store had them. Mystical these chips are.

I'll have to check some of the other groceries around town.

My fiancé came home with three bags of Taco Doritos for me today! They still exist! She got them from Meijer, if that helps anyone.

Walmart has them listed on the General Merchandise side of their online shopping catalog - but NOT on the Home Delivery Groceries side.

Target also lists them for home delivery.

Go figure.

Walmart and Target both list online shopping items that ship from others - things that are not found at their named stores.  The items count toward online order minimums but ship separately.

I don't get it, either.

Can you even get the Bar-B-Q Frito corn chips anymore?  A buddy of mine and I were just talking about that a few days ago.  I see the Chili flavored ones all over the place, but can't recall the last time I saw the BBQ.  (I think we still have Taco Doritos around, though.)

I'd swear WM has them, but I could be wrong.

The bar-b-que Corn Chips are impossible to find in my area, these days.  Have been for quite a while.

I watched a YouTube documentary about Frito-Lay/Doritos.  Seems Doritos Taco Flavor was their original flavor.

I still like it best.
